Post 5: Changes to my study programme
As someone who studies music, I have to require my students to have prior knowledge in music, that is, writing scores, some singing, and experience with musical instruments, since that was the way when I took classes independently for a while, and It has worked for me. My teachings would be in my specific field, percussion, where I would consider a minimum of 6 hours a week appropriate. I would seek to teach with all the instruments that I have at hand, for a minimum period of half a year. As for the place, a workshop granted by a municipality should be the ideal one, since I am not yet interested in teaching music as such in schools.
